in the beginning

Founded in 1998 by a pair of degenerate young mates, Skydive the Beach has grown up a lot.  We now celebrate over ten years of bringing the ultimate skydiving experience to people all over the world.  From early days operating with one small Cessna 206 in Wollongong, we are now the largest tandem skydiving centre in NSW Australia and own an impressive fleet of 6 aircraft.  Skydive the Hunter Valley opened its doors at the historic Elderslie drop zone in October 2010 and now Skydive the Beach Melbourne is the newest drop zone in the Skydive the Beach business.  All the staff are excited about jumping over the incredible St Kilda coastline and looking forward to meeting the locals.

We are staffed by an energetic young team, passionate about delivering the perfect skydiving adventure, jumping over amazing Melbourne.  Our skydiving staff are highly experienced in their field, where many currently compete on a national and international level.  We are happy to boast 3 World Champions and 7 Australian National Champions on the team – so you’re in safe skies when you jump with Skydive the Beach Melbourne.

Gold Winners in the 2009 South Coast Tourism Awards, Silver winners in the NSW Tourism Awards in 2009, and Winner in the 2009 Illawarra Business Awards and Illawarra Tourism Awards both in 2003 and 2005.  Skydive the Beach is active in promoting business excellence and the region to a national and international market and we look forward to doing the same in Victoria!
